This Isn’t A Real City LP
Together J.S. Foley and visual artist Timo Kuilder are seeking to create an invisible yet tangible conceptual bond between two artistic mediums, looking to expose and explore how the creative process can take shape, how concepts can be derivatives of one another, and how shared themes can bind art together to form single, cohesive statements. During the creation process, J.S. Foley took inspiration from the German capital Berlin. Timo Kuilder’s illustrations are also energized by the dynamic and lively streets of his residence, Amsterdam. Taking structural suggestions from broken furniture discarded on the side of the canals and scattered light passing through hidden windows in colourful alley ways, Timo’s works digs into the atmosphere of his surroundings, chaotic but conscientiously controlled.
